Twelve-year-old Abe has Muslim and Jewish roots. Whenever the extended family get together, the Israeli-Palestinian conflict sours the mood at the dinner table. Abe wants to bring about peace by means his hobby: He is a passionate cook. Secretly, he visits the Brazilian fusion artist Chico, who conjures up tasty dishes from a very wide variety of ingredients. Director Grostein Andrade contrasts conflict-laden family life with integrative cuisine and creates an entertaining, lively, extremely endearing cinematic treat for the whole family.
