On the night of the 5th of March 2002, an armed terrorist opened fire on patrons of a restaurant near Maariv Bridge. Salim Barakat, a Druze policeman stationed in Tel Aviv, happened to be on the scene in civilian clothes. He bravely overpowered the perpetrator and killed him, tragically losing his own life in the process. This is how everyone remembers the incident, celebrating him as a hero. Only Jamal, Salim’s older brother, does not believe the official version of the story. Ten years on, he discovers new facts about Salim’s death and wants to find out what really happened. A thrillingly and sensitively filmed investigation.
