Aharon has devoted his life to raising his son Uri. They live together, following a gentle routine, away from the real world. Uri is autistic and now that he is a young adult, his mother thinks he should finally move into a home. On the way to the institution, Aharon decides to run away with his son. He is afraid that Uri would be unable to cope with being separated from him. Or is it actually Aharon who is not ready for the separation? This film won the four most important ‘Israeli Oscars’, mainly due to the wonderful harmony between father and son, along with a special mixture of humour and tragedy.
